hola!!!

tengo instalado pelisalacarta 2.16 en mi xbox con xbmc mas actual y hasta ahi no hay ningun problema pero siempre que quiere actualizar a la version 2.20 siempre marca un error de scrip y nunca lo hace y por eso he instalado manualmente la version 2.20 y siempre marca error de script y se cierra.

en cambio cuando instalo la version 2.16 no tengo ningun problema.

Hola @fofotakka, el problema que tienes, se està dando con las ultimas versiones de xbmc para xbox, no puedo decir a partir de que version, pero existen algunos cambios que afectan al plugin.
Te dejo un archivo para que lo reemplaces con su similar en el directorio </E/Apps/XBMC/plugins/video/pelisalacarta/resources/lib/> @Jesus en las ultimas versiones de xbmc para xbox ya han incluido la libreria xbmcaddon pero sigue siendo plugin (plugin/video/pelisalacarta) como antes y no addon (addons/plugin.video.pelisalacarta) osea dharma no es, seguramente para que sean compatibles los plugins del repositorio, como veras en el log que ha subido @fofotakka, el path del plugin que proporciona el modulo de config.py es erroneo.

Hice un pequeño cambio en el archivo config.py, funciona tanto en la xbox como en windows, tomando en cuenta los requisitos que te hicieron los del repositorio oficial, puedes revisarlo y si lo encuentras correcto, lo subimos al svn.

El log con el config.py que adjuntais, es exactamente el mismo. Ni idea que puede ser... Unsuported protocol?
Uso la version descargada de la pagina oficial, para xbox.

@xzess, acabo de instalar la ultima version en este momento SVN:30792 y no me da ningun error, esta claro que el problema es otro.

Estas seguro que lo tienes bien instalado, me refiero a pelisalacarta, que de momento todavia es un plugin y no un addon como en dharma, tambien revisa que no lo hayas instalado como un scripts.

Trata de hacer una instalacion limpia del xbmc y de pelisalacarta, que debe ir en "Apps/XBMC/plugins/video/", luego reemplazas el config.py de arriba.

"Unsupported protocol(plugin)", a veces ocurre cuando esta mal instalado el plugin o tienes basura de instalaciones antiguas del xbmc.
Lo otro que se me ocurre es que no tienes pelisalacarta instalado completamente por eso no puede encontrar el archivo addon.xml, como digo intenta instalar manualmente por ftp el plugin.

Hola y gracias por responder, tengo una instalacion limpia de XBMC, limpia totalmente, (de hecho formatee la xbox) instalado como plugin, en ...plugins\video\pelisalacarta y descargada de el link de la pagina: " pelisalacarta 2.20 - Versión XBMC 9.11 y anteriores". Pasado por FTP correctamente.
Adjunto una screenshot para que lo veas como esta, situado. Pero creo que esta bien puesto, los demas plugins y scripts funcionan bien asi que nose... es extraño...
Si necesitas algo mas para poder indagar mas en el problema dimelo que lo posteo.
Por cierto ¿hay algun repositorio o plugin que contenga pelisalacarta, para poder probar si con instalacion desde la xbox funciona? Por cierto he probado otros plugins y demas y funcionan bien, pero en el log me sale tambien el "unsuported protocol"

Me he dado cuanta de algo extraño, al instalar un plugin directamente desde la consola, desde algun repositorio, me lo instala nada mas que en la particion Q, y en E no instala nada, aun asi, si instalo por FTP en E pelisalacarta, me sale en la consola, probe a copiarlo a Q y tampoco funciona. Pensaba que la particion Q era solo una virtual para el xbmc y que se correspondia con la de E... vaya lio

El drive Q, es virtual pero para el ftp es invisible y puedes acceder a el mediante el explorador de ficheros del xbmc pero supongo que eso ya lo sabes.
Puedes intentar eliminar el plugin pelisalacarta tanto de E: como de Q: con el explorador de ficheros del xbmc, reiniciar y luego instalarlo por ftp en el drive E: y si sigue dandote error, activa el debug "modo de depuracion", en Sistema del xbmc y luego inicia pelisalacarta para crear el log con el error y si es posible lo puedes subir a http://pastebin.com para no sobrecargar el foro con un log largo.

Buenas! ya lo he conseguido! Creo que era algun tipo de problema con el FTP o algo pasaba, no se muy bien, pero lo que hize fue, iniciar la consola con el "frostys rescue disc" y borrar desde ahi el directorio XBMC, por FTP meterlo de nuevo todo bien y listo, algo fallaba con el FTP del XBMC.

Aclaracion:
Aunque el FTP seguia llendo mal, solo la insistencia lo hizo funcionar, puesto que lo instale todo el XBMC y pelisalacarta unas 10 veces de igual manera, y supe que era cosa del FTP porque aun estando de igual manera me tiraba diferente Log el error del xbmc, entonces sospeche que era una mala transferencia o algo similar. No lo entiendo porque el FTP del pc (filezilla) no me tiraba errores... pero al final funciono.
Gracias por la ayuda bandavi!!, sin esos detalles hubiera sido mas dificil casi imposible hacerlo por mi solo. (Por cierto drive Q siempre lo veo por FTP...jejej)
