Hello everyone and sorry for my English.
I've noticed that the plugin is the ability to download videos from megavideo.
At the time it saves them into from the directory of the AppleTV /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.pelisalacarta/downloads/
(I have a aptv2g).
It's possible instead enter a network path and download the video in my wd storage media?
How should be correctly entered the network path? My wd media storage it's NAS and i share it in Xbmc smb://MEDIA/Public/Shared Videos/

I have tried it before, because the original idea of using samba in download list is that you can download the videos on a NAS.

The problem is that inside XBMC, the smb:// schema only works in a few situations. The pelisalacarta plugin uses a Samba library written in Python (not by me) that solves almost all the situations, but it can't be used for saving download portions of the file.

Maybe if you can mount the samba routes in ATV (in a folder /Volumes like in Mac) that can be done, but i don't know if it is possible.

I've shared my media storage in xbmc with samba configuration and it works very well. Should I use the same syntax configuration? (smb://Media/downlad). Sorry, but i haven't a Mac (pc win7): What should I do to mount the samba routes in Atv2?

Second question: my media storage support many protocol for the access (ftp, Nfs, Afp, http...). It's possibile to use one of this for save the file in the network disk?
For example: ftp://user:psw@198.162.1.100/download.

At this moment it is not possible, but let me think about it.

It is very easy to implement some of that protocols (ftp for example), and it can be a solution for downloading video on devices like the Apple TV 2G.

Será genial si conseguís poder descargar usando el protocolo smb://. Por mi parte lo he intentado y no funciona.

También estoy viendo cómo montar los recursos en el sistema de ficheros, pero este iOS no trae ni soporte smbfs ni cifs de série.
