You can change the channelselector.xml and add an version tag like 2000... In this way you will have the channel update but not the channelselector. Consider that in this way you will miss all the new channels.

But I didn't tested this method

Thanks aliaskappa, I'll take a look at this.
Nowvideo domain is not a problem usually, .li or .sx or whatever, sometimes you have to re-select the video a second time to let it play.
The problems I found were in some italia-film.co links where you find www.5nowvideo.li url, that are not recognized by the server.

Nonostante siano stati recentemente aggiunti gli aggiornamenti automatici
ai canali ed ai server, il plugin pelisalacarta in versione italiana, in caso di rilascio di una nuova versione della versione spagnola (ad esempio 4.0.4) si sarebbe aggiornata corrompendo tutto il lavoro svolto dall'equipe italiano.
Così abbiamo ben pensato di rendere la versione italiana "indipendente" definitivamente dalla madre spagnola, legare gli aggiornamenti di tutto l'add-on allo stesso repo dei canali, per cui da oggi oltre ai server ed ai canali, potremo gestire l'aggiornamento dell'intero add-on a disposizione degli utenti.
In due parole, se delle nuove funzioni (oltre ai canali ed ai server) traduzioni verranno aggiunte all'add-on, per ottenerle vi basterà aggiornare alla nuova versione solo premendo un pulsante che comparirà nella Home dell'add-on dopo un messaggio che vi avverte della disponibilità di aggiornamenti. Senza il bisogno di scaricare e reinstallare attraverso Kodi ogni volta!

Although it has been recently added automatic updates
to all channels and server, the plugin pelisalacarta in Italian, in case of release of a new version of the Spanish version (eg 4.0.4) would be updated corrupting all the work done by the team Italian.
So we thought to make the Italian version of "independent" permanently from Spanish mother, tying the updates of all the add-on at the same repo channel, so now in addition to the server and the channels, we can manage the updating of whole add-on released to users.
In two words, if the new features (in addition to channels and server) or translations will be added to the add-on, to get them you have to update to the newest version just by pressing a button that will appear in the Home of the add-on after a message notifies you of available updates. Without the need to download and reinstall through Kodi every time!

The Italian plugin for the moment changed its name to
"Stream On Demand".
First uninstall previous versions! (check signature)

i tried to reselect the video for 3/4 times but nothing happen
and the link i selected was the nowvideo's link of "selfless"
in cineb...01 folder, i tried also with other sites and other films
but they didn't work, so i decided to try to fix it.
i hope you will appreciate,


p.s. i tried with kodi isengard in lubuntu and with kodi isengard in win10

I'm pleased to report that i note in effect (like write some days ago from fenice it seems to me, but i'm not sure), that channel tantifilm is an important addition (for his russian server), in effect i find thank to it two movies that i search without result from months...

I also want to say that 2 bugs have been signalated already, vkpass server for 3d movies in portalehd and the channels not showing until end of servers update.

buongiorno,
ho riscontrato un piccolo problema durante l'installazione
del vostro addon stream on demand sia su
win10 che lubuntu (entrambi isengard 15.2).
Appena installato da zip file, premendo canali/ tutti non compare
nulla. Ho risolto la cosa semplicemente andando nel menù configurazione
e riselezionando la lingua italiano (anche se è l'unica).

in windows la situazione è simulabile disinstallando l'addon,
andando successivamente in C:\Users\vostro utente\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\addon_data
e cancellando la cartella plugin.video.pelisalacarta.italiano .
a questo punto reinstallando l'addon (come se fosse ex novo) la situazione compare.

hello,
i found a small problem during the Installation of stream on demand on
win10 and lubuntu (isengard version 15.2)
i installed the addon by zip file, by pressing the button canali/ tutti don't compare nothing.
I solved it simply going into configuration menù and re-pressing italian language (it's the only).

to simulate the situation ( in wi10 ) I uninstalled the addon, i deleted the folder
C:\Users\vostro utente\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\addon_data\plugin.video.pelisalacarta.italiano
and then re-install the addon.

it happens to you ?
